Movies are one of the cheapest ways to find some entertainment during Spring Break

.) Let’s go to the movies! Whether it’s Cinderella, Chappie, or The Duff, there’s all kinds of movies in theaters, all tickets under $10! If nothing looks interesting in theaters, check out Redbox or Netflix!

.) National Parks: With all the beautiful, mild weather, there’s no better time to be outside than right now. There all multiple national parks all around the Austin area that can be found here to go hiking, biking, and picnicking. http://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/nearby/austin

.) Pinballz Arcade: On St. Patrick’s Day, Pinballz is holding special deals and half off games. Be sure to check them out! http://www.pinballzarcade.com/pinballz-events/st-pinballz-day-march-17th.html

.) Jumpstreet! No matter how old you are, you’re never too old for trampolines. Jumpstreet hosts “10 Buck Tuesday and Thursday” every week. Jump for 2 hours for just $10.

.) Roller skating: Classic fun in a classic atmosphere. Playland Skate Center in Austin gets you skate rental for only $8.

.) Austin Zoo: It may not be the biggest zoo in the world, but it is a non-profit that teaches about animal rescue. With your student ID, you can get in for $8.

.) Blanton Museum of Art: If staring at beautiful artwork is your cup of tea, the Blanton is the right fit for you. This museum boasts 17,000 pieces to admire in a variety of mediums. Every third Thursday of the month (for March, that is this upcoming Thursday, the 19th!!) admission is FREE. Otherwise tickets for adults are $9.

.) UT Campus: If you’ve ever been downtown, you’ve basically been on UT’s campus. Multiple shops and restaurants give you plenty of options as you explore downtown.

.) Kayaking on the Colorado River: You can rent a single kayak for $10/hour at the Rowing Dock or you can split the cost of a double with a friend at $15/hour.

.) Baylor Street Art Wall: The iconic wall in downtown Austin captures the unique essence of the city. Exploring and checking it out is free!
