The Lady Lions varsity softball ended their season last Friday with a 5-7 loss against the Lehman Lobos.

“This year has been full of ups and downs; but regardless of that, I am most proud that these kids come out every day with a great attitude and a willingness to learn and get better,” said head coach Kendall Driver said. “Both teams have grown a ton. I am proud to be their coach and to get to work with such great kids every day.”

The varsity team went 9-14 overall this season and will now be transitioning into offseason as they did not qualify for playoffs.

“I’m so proud of how much this team has grown together as a whole and how we have all grown much closer than in previous years,” junior Brooke Baumgartner said. “We played our hardest for our seniors but also show to the rest of the girls our full capability so that we can come out next season and hopefully make it further than we did this year.”
