The Chick-fil-A located on the 1890 Ranch is now going to be closing for renovations until mid-May according to the Chick-fil-A website.

“I’m extremely sad to hear that Chick-fil-A is closing,” sophomore Ellie Butler said. “It was bad enough that it’s closed on Sunday and now it’s going to be closed an entire month.”

The fast food restaurant is one of many places to eat in the expanding 1890 Ranch area. However, according to Butler, it’s one of the most popular places especially for teens.

“Whenever I go there is always plenty of people there so I usually can’t even park,” Butler said. “I also see lots of people I know go there because it has some of the best food and service for a quick place to get some food.”

The new Chick-fil-A will include a larger kitchen, new furniture in the dining room and larger areas outside for seating.

“It has been our pleasure to serve our loyal customers, and we look forward to undergoing renovations that will help us better serve them for years to come,” Priscilla Mendoza, franchise Operator of the Chick-fil-A at Cedar Park stated on the Chick-fil-A website.
