JV girls continue fighting

JV girls’ soccer lost the game against Vandegrift on Tuesday the 23rd, with a final score of 0-6.  As a result of conflicts in information regarding the outcome, scores are currently unavailable for the game played on the 19th against Georgetown.  Earlier, the Lady Lions lost against Dripping Springs 0-1 on Tuesday, the 16th. JV girls’ soccer lost 0-2 against Vista Ridge at the home game played on Friday, the 12th.

Prior to the game against East View, was a successful win of 2-0 against Marble Falls at home on the 5th. The goals were scored by sophomore Madison Mallach and senior Cameryn Garcia.

District away games played on the 2nd against Cedar Park, and the 29th of January against Vandegrift, resulted in losses for Girl’s Soccer of 0-7 and 0-9. A game played against Georgetown on the 26th resulted in a 0-0 tie.

Finally, the away game played on the 22nd of January against Pflugerville resulted in a success for the Lions with a final score of 3-1, 2 goals scored by varsity player junior Miranda Beyer-Brents, and one scored by sophomore Jazmine Escobar.

Up next for the JV girls’ soccer is a home game on Friday, the 4th against East View.
