The Lady Lions went up against Lake Travis March 3, losing 0-5. They were also defeated by Westlake last Tuesday and ended with a final score of 0-4.

“This season has been a tough one for us,” sophomore Sydney Brinkmann said. “We have been working hard to take more shots at the goal.”

The Lions have lost their last five games this season.

“We need to work on our communication on the field,” sophomore Sam Rangel said. “Sometimes we don’t yell loud enough to each other or we don’t pay enough attention to each other.”

Sophomore Gigi Ceka almost scored a goal in the second half of the game, but was blocked.

We are confident that we might tie or even win our next game. We’re going to step up and pull through strong for the last game.
