After weeks of preparing from hundreds of dancers, the annual LISD dance performance, iDance, has ended.
“We did great and we were pleased with our performance,” senior Tatum Madden said. “We are always super excited to perform as a team and we really feed off of the energy we feel from our audience.
The performance was a display of dances by all the different LISD high schools varsity and JV teams as well as the Running Brushy middle school team. However, the officers from each school also had a routine together. Some of the music and choreography tributed different things from veterans to the Blue Belles and their dance to support breast cancer awareness.
“I really enjoyed getting to spend time dancing with all my friends from other schools that I usually don’t get to dance with,” sophomore Kaelin Winters said.
For seniors, this was the last time they would perform at iDance; some of them after three years of participating.
“I’m going to miss the opportunity to dance in a show with my team and so many other girls who all have the same passion as me,” senior Gabbi Kester said.
The Blue Belles next performance will be at their Christmas Show on December 3rd.
