The story of Altair is one of a tragic romance. He and his love Vega were separated by the milky way and may only meet once a year on the seventh day of the seventh month. The poem will be published in the annual Austin youth Anthology. It was an original work by Gigi Allen. This picture was auto contrasted and colored and cropped from the original state.
