If someone else was going to win I was going to make them work for it. I was happy with how I ran and the support I had during the race was amazing and perfect.”

Coe not only placed fourth for the varsity boys but he also made a new personal record. His record was 16:22 but with a time of 16:17, he made a new best and shaved five seconds off.The other varsity boy members who ran were senior Justin Campbell, who earned 25th place, junior Victor Castillo, who placed 33rd, freshman Erlap Orkun, who placed 36th, senior Jared Jawed, who finished in 42nd place, senior Nicholas Ford, who finished in 46th place and junior Sean Malone, who placed 49th out of 52.
