The African American Student Union is described as an organization for service. There are currently not enough members to be an official campus club, but it is an active organization. AASU does events like Save Lids to Save Lives, a breast cancer drive. Sponsor Coach Kay says AASU does a lot of outreach work too. The other sponsor for AASU is freshman English teacher, Dominique Francois.
