Band to Perform at Vista Ridge Marching Competition

On Saturday, October 6, the Leander band is traveling to Gupton, the Vista Ridge stadium, to compete against 16 schools. In this competition the band will be performing their complete show, The Ritual. They’ve spent countless hours preparing a fantastic, unique show, so please, come support our band!
Students aren’t sure of how they’ll place, but they promise to present an amazing show.

“We’re expected to place in at least the top 10.” Sophomore clarinet section leader Holly Ekas said.
“We’ll probably make it into the top 5,” Junior clarinet section leader Samantha Wallace said.
Tickets for adults are $8, and student tickets are $5. There is also a parking fee of $2.

Future competitions are the Lone Star Preview Marching Competition in the Woodlands, TX on October 13th, and the UIL Marching Contest at RRISD Kelly Stadium on October 20th.
