If there is a rain delay, the game will be delayed to Saturday at Cedar Creek.

“We are playing a three game series so we need to come out strong the first game and start on top with a win,” sophomore Mackenzie Catalina said. “We need to play solid defense and score first and score a lot to help out our pitcher.”

The Lady Lions 3-14 loss to Dripping Springs closed off the season. The Lady Lions finished with an 8-6 district record. Sophomore Emily Walton hit one double in the game and had one steal, and senior Gabby Walton hit two singles, and scored one run in the game, had one RBI, and one steal. Junior Abbey Orlich also hit a single. Sophomore Mackenzie Catalina also hit a single in the game.

“I’m just going to focus on what I know how to do and not overthink things,” G. Walton said about going to playoffs. “I really want to enjoy the times I have left with this team and make it a season to remember.”
