Posing with her milkshake-themed floral arrangement, sophomore Reece Hamilton pretends to sip from the striped straw. Based on a couple's ice cream sundae, the design aimed to bring cheer to students leading up to Valentine's Day. "It was actually pretty easy and fun," Hamilton said. "I already had my pattern lined out in my head, so I didn't have to think of where all the flowers would go. The hardest part was cutting them to size.”

Students create Valentine’s Day arrangements

Sophomore Jacob Irvine laces up his wrestling shoes in preparation for practice in the wrestling room. Wrestling from a young age, Irvine harbors fond feelings towards this gym. “That’s where we get to practice and where we don’t have to pretend to be anything we’re not,” said Irnvine. “Practices are hard… once you’re done, you feel [accomplished]."
