Get Ahead or Catch Up – Summer School Offers Opportunities for Both

School’s almost out for summer, but many LISD students will be in class during the vacation to regain credit or to get ahead on credits. Leander ISD will hold two summer school sessions at Vista Ridge High School.

Summer Session I will be held from June 17 – July 3 and Summer Session II runs from July 15 – July 31.

Classes will be held from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. every day during each session.
In-district students pay $185 per session and out-of-district students pay $225 per session. In-district transportation is available for $60 per student enrolled.

The following courses will be offered in both sessions.
Courses noted with an asterisk (*) are for credit recovery only.

English: English I*, English II*, English III, English IV

Mathematics: Algebra I, Algebra II, AQR, Geometry, Math Models, Pre-Calculus*

Science: Biology*, Chemistry*, Physics*, IPC, Environmental Systems

Social Studies: Economics, Government, US History, World Geography*, World History*

Electives: Communication Applications, Health (online course), Spanish I, Spanish II, Art
