Get Schooled Challenge

Get Schooled is a non-profit organization formed in 2010 that aims to increase attendance at schools and improve graduation rates in hopes of inspiring people to go to college. The organization works with some of the biggest names in media such as One Direction, Nicki Minaj, Tyra Banks, Dwayne Wade, Wiz Khalifa and many more.

In the Get Schooled Attendance Challenge, LHS  is currently tied for 17th place with 6 other schools with 41 points. Since the Game On Challenge began on October 1, our attendance has improved 1.43% which gives us 15 points.  With only 286 students participating in the wake up calls, we earn 5 points.  In total, we have played 3,234 games, giving us 20 points with one extra point for a bonus.

As a larger 4A school, we have plenty of students to participate in the activities, but take into consideration that every person matters! There are many incentives to participate such as swag giveaways and the opportunity to win a celebrity concert or visit for the day.
