On Tuesday, Nov. 19, the varsity boys’ basketball team lost to the Cedar Park Timberwolves 61-62 at home. This puts the Lions at 1-1 for the season.

“The team started off a little shaky but going into the second half we got jump-started and really started executing a lot better,” senior power forward Jacob Winsor (#14) said. “The outcome was kind of tough because we really had a shot at winning but we fell short. Overall it came down to us needing to play better defense, especially late in the game when it was so close. Hopefully, we can just be tougher next game and knock down more shots and just keep getting better.”

The Lions will face the Anderson Trojans at Anderson High School at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22.
