Looper: A New Take on Time Travel

This weekend I am going to see Rian Johnson’s new film Looper. I have been anticipating it since seeing the trailers during the summer, because the story seems very original and compelling. The plot revolves around a guy who is a “Looper,” or a hit man whose job is to kill people sent to him from the future, but his life gets turned around when an older version of him is sent for him to execute.

The movie stars Joseph-Gordon Levitt and Bruce Willis playing younger and older versions of the same person, and Emily Blunt costars. So far, the movie has a 94% “Certified Fresh” rating from the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, so I am expecting a very entertaining film. Check back soon for a full review!
