People Dedicated to Quality, chicken and service
PDQ is a chain restaurant that serves chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, and other common fast food products. The restaurant was created in 2013 first opening in Florida and has now spread to 38 different locations throughout six U.S states.
The chicken tenders are very juicy and well cooked/breaded. The tenders do taste a little bland but that is made up for by their selection of 7 free sauces. The fries are shoe-string style and spiced just the right way, similar to the tenders, they go well with the sauce. The grilled chicken sandwich had a fresh taste to the chicken and the bread.
The restaurant is principally owned by Bob Basham who is a former co-founder of Outback Steakhouse and MVP Holdings CEO Nick Reader. The manager of the Cedar Park location is a great server who manages a group of smiling employees. These people will freshly cook your food and take your order making you feel welcome.
This restaurant began in Oakland Park Florida in 2013 and spread across the southern country in only two years. Each location makes an average annual revenue of $3 million in sales. This easily shows dedication.
With it’s owners/creators already being involved in the food business, it makes sense why it’s so good. The menu can be broken down into five main sections; hand breaded chicken tenders, salads, sandwiches, fries and hand-spun milkshakes. Each of these items are quality food.
This restaurant stands true to it’s name. It serves good food and the Cedar Park location is very involved in it’s community whether it be supporting project grad or hosting “Family Night” for elementary schools.
