The season finale of The Walking Dead just ended last Sunday leaving with many Walking Dead fans excited for the next season.

Story wise this season did great in telling the story of our survivors. They faced many challenges but they were able to hold on. There was also a lot of character development primarily with Rick, Daryl, Beth, Sasha, and many others. Overall the characters were great this season and many times showed true emotion and any hardships the characters were going through the viewer could totally see it. The acting was superb the whole season especially with Andrew Lincholn, who plays Rick Grimes, Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon, and Emily Kinney, who plays Beth. The season also did a great of pulling on the viewer’s heart strings but also making the viewer leap off of his/her chair in joy.

There were also some fantastic settings in the show whether it was Terminus or dark hallways each setting created the mood the viewer was suppose to feel. Emotions were very high this season as many events unfolded changing the course of the story. Many events also led our survivors to totally new locations which added an interesting factor to the story.

Overall the season definitely deserves a 9.5/10. There were some things in the story that should’ve been ironed out and the pace was sometimes off but that doesn’t take away the fact that this is a fantastic show.
