The JV Lions basketball team won their final game of the season against Dripping Springs 42-32.

“I did alright,” sophomore Cody Bayer said. “I mean it [the game] wasn’t the greatest, but we just played good as a team and we worked together.”

The first quarter went scoreless as both defenses played hard. At the end of the half, the game was tied 15-15. The Lions then led 32-25 at the end of the third quarter. At the end of the game, the Lions scored 42 points and gained another victory.

“[The year] was kind of up and down,” Bayer said, “but I think overall we got better and that’s what really matters.”

The Lions played a tough season and will continue to practice hard for next year.
