In a promising opener to the Lion Soccer season, both the Junior Varsity and Varsity Boys’ teams earned victories in their scrimmages against Manor played at Bible this past Tuesday night.

JV Boys’ started the evening strong with a final score of 2-1 against the Mustangs; the Varsity Boys’ didn’t disappoint with a final score of 6-0, giving the Boys’ a secure footing to begin their pre-season games.

“It was a confidence boost for us,” senior Varsity player Hector Carrillo said.

The Boys’ teams are set to play against the Rouse Raiders at Rouse High School this Friday, January 9. JV will play at 5 p.m., and Varsity will play at 7 p.m. Come out and support the Lions!
