In a heated match with many close calls, boys’ varsity soccer came out with a victory against the Vandegrift Vipers with a final score of 1-0.

“Their hustle back to the defensive on the multiple counter attacks was impressive even though we had a few missed shots that we could have made,” senior Hector Carrillo said.

Despite being short-staffed, the Lions were able to prevail despite many missed shots and close calls.

The Lions will take on Marble Falls away at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday after the cancelled game against Cedar Park on February 27 due to weather.
