The Junior Varsity and Freshman Red and Blue teams took on their next district opponent, the Vista Ridge Rangers, on Thursday, October 17th, at Bible Stadium.

Neither JV teams were able to secure a victory for the Lions. The JV Red final score was 27-14, and the JV Blue final score was 21-0.

“We had difficulty moving the ball offensively,” JV Blue Coach Warehime said.

As for Freshman, the Red final score was 35-21; the Blue team final score was 20-12.

“In the end, we just made one too many turnovers. We had chances to score but ended up not getting them,” Freshman Coach Richards said.

The JV and Freshman Teams are scheduled to take on the Dripping Springs Tigers in their next game on Thursday, October 24th. The JV teams will play away at Tiger Stadium at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. while the Freshman teams play at Bible Stadium at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
