For the second game of the football season, the Lions played the Pflugerville Hendrickson Hawks. However, the team was defeated 52-0.

“It’ll be a great learning experience for us,” head coach Lee Bridges said. “We can take that and try to find the positives in it and make ourselves better.”

In the first quarter, there were several fumbles, punts blocked, a safety, and two long runs made by the Hawks.

“I think they hit us on the nose real hard, backed up, and then we never could get our composure back,” Bridges said.

The next game is against the Manor Mustangs at Manor at 7:30 p.m.! Good luck Lions!
