The Lions played against Westlake on February 10, with a final score of 0-2.

“Even though we lost, we did really well with defending the ball from our side,” sophomore Sydney Brinkmann said. “That also helped with our communication.”

As stated by Brinkmann, senior Kyah Carlsen almost scored a goal with a free kick, but missed.

“All of us were willing to play different positions that we weren’t used to playing in,” sophomore Gigi Ceka said. “It helped our team a lot in the long run.”

The Varsity girls will play at home against the Lehman Lobo’s February 14. This will be the fourth game of the season.
