Another One Bites The Dust
Varsity Softball bet the Rouse Raiders in the Regional Quarterfinals game.
The Lady Lions beat the Rouse Lady Raiders in a 3 series game this past Friday, May 9. The girls played two outstanding games scoring 9-1 in the first game and a much closer score of 3-2 in the second.
“[In] the second game, they made a pitching change and had more success by only limiting us to 3 runs,” catcher Shelby Irlbeck said.
Though the team was down in the beginning of the game, they didn’t stop fighting and were able to pull out another victory.
The girls will be advancing on in the playoffs this Thursday night the Lady Lions will take on the Medina Valley Lady Panthers at 7pm and Friday night also at 7pm. If another game is needed the teams will play on Saturday at 11:30am.
The Thursday game is a Blue Out game, so if you head out to Canyon, wear BLUE!
