Lady Lions stopped short against Marble Falls
The Lady Lions varsity softball team fell short to Marble Falls 2-3 last night.
“I know we could have done so much better,” senior Kellie Jeanes said. “Everyone was hitting but unfortunately they were fly balls and not everyone was making adjustments at the plate like we needed. We also were just not having clutch plays at the right moments, most of our errors happened with two outs with runners in scoring position.”
The game started off tied 1-1 after the first two innings. After the fifth inning, Marble Falls pulled ahead with the score being 2-3, the final score of the game. Next, the Lady Lions will host East View on Friday night at 7.
“We are going to change our mindset,” sophomore Emily Walton said. “Work extra hard in practice and refuse to lose.”
