The fall tennis team had several matches; some even before school started.  Their current record for the season is 8-3, and their district record is 1-1.

“We are getting ready to play the tough part of our district schedule with 3 matches in the next 6 days.  This will determine our seeding for our district tourney in early October,”  Coach Matt Kostoff said.

On September 15 the team will play Rouse High School at the Leander tennis court at 9 a.m.  On Tuesday September 18, the team travels to Vista Ridge High School and begin play at 4 p.m.  The team continues district competition against Vandegrift High school at 4 pm at Leander on September 21.

“We’re getting great leadership from our senior captains as well as our other seniors,”  Coach Kostoff said. Team captains are Zoe Lowery, Julie Muzy, Mike Sebastian, and Quinten Melchor.
