The Lady Lions then came back in the third set with a score of 25-21, but were stopped short in the final set 11-25.

The JV team fell short, being swept by Cedar Park. The final outcome of the game was 2-0. In the first set the score came out to 8-25 and the second 15-25.

“We played hard and it was a tough loss,” freshman Amanda Larson said. “Until the very last point, our team never stops fighting.”

Freshman A

Freshman A lost to the Timberwolves with a turnout of 2-0.  Cedar Park won the first and second sets with the final scores being 18-25 and 16-25. The freshman B team did not play due to the fact that Cedar Park has no B team.

The Lady Lions’ next game will be tonight, September 18. They will be taking on the Georgetown Eagles at 5:30 and 6:30 here at home.
