Trivia Crack, or battling friends to see who has the most trivia knowledge, is the new game that has been spotted on twitter.

The game is much like Jeopardy, but a player only goes up against one person at a time. There are six categories (science, entertainment, art, geography, sports, and history) with a character for each category. The goal of the game is to win all six categories before the other person. You can also submit questions and your questions can be featured in the game after they’ve been approved.

“It’s a fun game that puts random facts in your brain,” senior Courtney Castillo said. “I heard about it from the masses of people that have been playing recently, and I had to give it a try.”

Players earn coins throughout the game to get advantages like PowerUps and extra spins. The game also updates constantly already possessing 100 thousand questions meaning questions will not be repeated, and if they are, it’s a rarity.

“I haven’t learned anything of substance,” senior Lindsay Jones said, “but now I know that Hitler’s dog was named Blondie.”

The game includes trivia that is uncommon to most people, but it is appropriate for all ages.

“It’s challenging, but not in a traditional way,” Jones said. “It doesn’t necessarily challenge your intelligence, but rather your memory to recall silly facts.”

Trivia Crack is compatible with Apple and Android products, available on iTunes and Amazon  for free, but does include ads. There is, however, a version of the game without ads for about $3.
