The film club will have their first movie showing of 2016 this Friday. They will meet in room 2204 on Friday, January 15th at 6:00. They will be showing the classic 1967 movie The Graduate starring Dustin Hoffman, Anne Bancroft and Katharine Ross.

“I am really excited for Friday night,” junior Sam Briggs said. “I have not seen the movie yet, but for what my friends have told me about it, it sounds very interesting.”

Anyone is allowed to come see the movie and it is completely free. There will be snacks and drinks at the event and people are allowed to bring their own snacks and drinks if they wish. The film club is really excited according to film club adviser Cathy Zang to show this movie because of its theme, plot, and ending.

“The club is really excited to see this movie,” Mrs. Zang said. “It is really an interesting movie with a lot of twist and turns. I think people that haven’t seen it yet will be shock but really happy that they saw this movie.”

What the film club wants to do is show one movie every month and maybe hold a bigger event so they can attract a bigger group to their club.

“It would be awesome to have more members,” Mrs. Zang said.  “We have a pretty big class right now, more than any other class actually, but the more the merrier.”
