We’ll Just Have to Improvise

by Siandhara Bonnet, Editor-in-Chief

7 Cue will perform their first improvisation show November 14 in the drama room at 10 p.m.

The organization was formed last school year in 2014, by current senior Zane Hudson. The goal of the troupe is to help both theatre and non-theatre students improve on their wit and quick thinking skills.

“The goal of 7 Cue is to use our humor to have fun,” Hudson said.

Along with the help of professional improviser Halyn Erickson, the troupe has prepared for an hour long show that will include the audience’s help in suggestions for each scene.

“We’re not worried,” Hudson said. “All of us can think of multiple ideas for a scene the second an audience member suggests something.”

The show is designed to be family friendly, so all ages are welcome.

“The audience should expect us [to be] having fun alongside them,” Hudson said.

Doors open at 9:45 and tickets will be available for $2 at the door.
