Top 10 Christmas Movies

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year and people are doing their yearly traditions. It could be getting a tree or stay close to the fire but for me, I like to watch the Christmas specials.
So to celebrate, I’m counting down my list for the top 10 Christmas specials.
10. The Nightmare Before Christmas
When Jack Skellington is sick and tired of doing the same thing over and over again in Halloween town, he runs into Christmas town and becomes obsessed over it, so much that he actually wants to be Santa for one night on Christmas and deliver the presents.
9. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (original)
When the Grinch doesn’t want the Whos down in Whoville to celebrate Christmas, he decides to steal it from them.
Scott Calvin is a normal person until he accidentally kills Santa and he puts on the suit. He is later told that he is the new Santa and he doesn’t want to do it.
7. Home Alone
When the McAllister’s go on a family vacation to Illinois, they, they leave their leave 8 year old Kevin all by himself. At first he likes being alone, but when it starts to get lonely, and crooks want in his house, he must man up and defend his home.
6. Gremlins
As a Christmas present, Billy gets a new pet called a Mogwai witch they later name Gizmo. But when he pours water on him and he multiplies, they get out of control and when they eat after midnight they become deadly killers: Gremlins.
On Christmas Eve, a magical train takes good boys and girls all the way the the North Pole to see Santa’s workshop and be chosen to get the first gift of Christmas.
4. Elf
When Buddy learns that he’s not an Elf but rather, a Human, he travels to New York City to find his family and spread the true meaning of Christmas.
3. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
Clark Griswold wants to make this the best Christmas ever, so he invites the entire family over to celebrate. But that alone is not a smart idea.
All poor Ralphie wants for Christmas is a red Ryder carbine action 200-shot range model air rifle, but everywhere he goes, he hears the same response, “you’ll shoot your eye out.”
George Bailey has always wanted to go see the world, but his family and town all need him. When he thinks that he’s just a bum, his guardian Angel Clarence, grants his wish witch was to never be born. He learns that not only was his life nor bad, it was a wonderful life.
