Baseball gets new scoreboard
Scoreboard comes after craft market fundraiser

Ever since Matt Grissom became head coach for the baseball team, the one thing that he wanted to change most on the field was the scoreboard. The new scoreboard is much bigger than the last one and it will show all the inning scores. Coach Grissom really wanted the scoreboard to be like the one at Wrigley Field in Chicago, his favorite baseball field, which has been there for more than 75 years.
“I’m really happy and excited for the new scoreboard to be finally put up,” Grissom said. “It’s not only something I have wanted for so long, but the players as well and thanks to the baseball Booster Club for making this happen.”
Most of the scoreboards money came from this years and last year’s Booster Club Craft Market, which happened in November. The scoreboard was put up during Christmas break.
“I am super hyped for this new scoreboard,” sophomore baseball player Jared Cano said. “It will finally complete the entire look of the field with the dugouts, the field and the scoreboard itself. The field is going to be one of the coolest.”
