Freshman Blue team faces off against the Vandegrift Vipers.

Both JV teams played Vista Ridge and were defeated in close games.

The red team played first but came out short with a score of 28-32. The offence played well by moving the ball, covering sophomore quarterback Kyle Irlbeck, and catching most through passes. The offensive line was led by tight end Mark Grissom and running back Gabriel Warren. The defense played well and held back the Rangers decently. The defense was led by sophomore linemen Andrew Garnett who had many tackles during the game.

“We all gave it our best and we don’t leave everything on or off the field,” Sophomore Brandan Baitia.

The blue team played well but lost with a heartbreaking score of 6-7.  The offense was led by sophomore quarterback Garrett Parcell. He kept the teams head up during the hard game and kept them going as usual. The defense was led by sophomore linebacker KC Frias. They held the line well and only gave up 1 touchdown.

“Both teams played hard and didn’t give up and all played their parts,” said coach Grissom. “We just need to start out strong sooner.”

The JV teams will play against Dripping Springs at their field at 5:30.
