The varsity boys lost to the Lake Travis Cavaliers 0-3, Westlake Chaps 0-1 and Lehman Lobos 2-3. After failing to reach playoffs due to the first two losses, the team had their senior night against Lehman.

“I think I’m most proud of how we kept our heads up through the whole season and put in 100% every time we stepped on the field,” senior Ian Milne said. “Also that we were a true team and played hard for each other, not just ourselves.”

I am proud of the effort the boys gave throughout a very difficult district season.

The two games ended a three game non-losing streak for the Lions and at the same time it ended the chances that they had for playoffs. They then battled against the Lobos with senior Ian Milne scoring both goals. Despite this, they still lost 2-3.

“I am proud of the effort the boys gave throughout a very difficult district season,” head coach Russ Girard said. “I’m proud of the leadership our seniors gave throughout the year.”

The team’s season is now over where they went 3-5-4 in district.
