AP Literature class gives final presentations

Senior Emma Funes walks her AP Literature class through guiding questions posed by Emily Bronte’s “Wuthering Heights.” Funes’ group explored the cyclical nature of revenge and the exploration of manhood in Bronte’s classic novel.

On Tuesday, students in Emily Huffman’s AP Literature and Composition presented their book club novels in the medium of trifolds. Come the exam in May, students may analyze any book previously read in one of three essays, therefore, Tori Bazaldua said, “the project is a good reference for what [we’ll] have to write on the exam.”

AP Literature and Composition teacher Emily Huffman scribbles notes on each group's presentations. Each group's trifold had to answer guiding questions group members created, along with a modern twist, options including a dating profile, blackout poetry, or a Spotify wrapped playlist.
