Congratulations to Prom King Tony Alvarez and Queen Hannah Giamfortone.

The seniors were crowned at the Prom on May 10 at the Hilton Doubletree in Austin.

Alvarez has played football, baseball,l and participated in the 4×2 relay team and HOSA and plans to attend college at Texas A&M Corpus Christi in the fall.

“[My favorite memory of LHS] is not just one memory but a compilation of memories of being on the football field with my bros, going to regionals in track and spending my years hanging out with friend,” Alvarez said.

Giamfortone played softball, volleyball and ran cross country, served in NHS and PALS and plans to attend Texas A&M to pursue a career in the medical field.

“My favorite LHS memory could not possibly be just one, cheering on the boys at football games, playing softball and volleyball with my best friends,” Giamfortone said.

Court members also included Grant Shewmaker, Martin Nwakamma, Juan Brown, Joel Alonso, Max Hart, Nicole McDaniel, Marissa Snider, Lourdes Garcia, Kassi Patronella, Gaebri Anderson and Emily Cooper.

“I was shocked and surprised but thankful so many of our peers voted for us and thought so well of us,” Giamfortone said of their win.
