After a hard fought win against Eastview winning 70-53, the varsity Boys Basketball team lost 49-41 to Vista Ridge.

Leading players included senior Daniel Black with nine points and four assists, and juniors David Bonner with 11 points and two assists and Kobe Thompson with seven points and four rebounds.

“I thought I contributed well for the team even though I fouled out pretty early, but I did the best I could for the team to help us try to win,” Black said. “They’re pretty big, so we’re going to have to box out and rebound and play as a collective unit to try and rebound the ball, so it should be a tough task for us, but I think we’re ready.”

Their next game is a home game against Dripping Springs at 7:30, now 2-4 in district play.
