In an exciting night of competition, varsity Boys’ Soccer traveled to Dripping Springs to defeat the Tigers 5-1 on their own turf.

Sohpmore Talen Maples and senior Christian Bernal scored goals. Senior Angel Garza officially recorded his third hat trick of the season.

“We were able to come out and dominate as a team,” coach Russ Girard said. “We hope to take that strength over into playing Georgetown.”

This victory, coupled with Vista Ridge’s loss on Tuesday night, has put the Lions back in 2nd place in district.

“We just have to keep up this momentum,” senior David Uihlein said.

The boys will take on Georgetown as their next opponent this Friday night at Georgetown at 7 p.m. Come out and support your Lions!
