“We finished strong this game,” sophomore Sydney Brinkmann said. “We communicated well and looked out for each other.”

Sophomore Gigi Ceka scored the first goal with a header. Senior Kyah Carlsen scored the second goal for the Lion in the last half of the game.

This was the last game of the season for the Lions, as they were unable to reach playoffs.

“I’m gonna miss playing with my team every week,” Brinkmann said. “Overall, it was a good season maybe not in scores but definitely in sportsmanship.”
