The Freshman Red and Blue teams put up a hard fight against the Cedar Park Timberwolves on October 9 at Bible Stadium.

By the middle of the second quarter of the Freshman Red game, the Timberwolves were dominating the field with a score of 28-zero.

With roughly 20 seconds left in the first half, the Timberwolves secured another touchdown against the Lions, resulting in a score of 35-zero. There were no more advances made by either teams in the second half.

“We pulled together in the second half,” Jason Ebbeler said. “But Cedar Park’s game was too good.”

The Freshman Blue team also couldn’t secure a victory over the Cedar Park Timberwolves.

At the beginning of the 1st quarter, Riley Harkleroad was able to secure an interception.  There were no other advances made in the 1st quarter.

In the second quarter, another interception was made by Coltin Davis. By the end of the first half, the Timberwolves secured a touchdown resulting in a six-zero score.

“We almost scored 2 or 3 times,” Paul Beach said, “but we just couldn’t punch it in.”

In the 3rd quarter, the Timberwolves scored another touchdown resulting in a score of 13-zero. No other advances were made in the 4th quarter.

The Freshman Lions will play their next game against Marble Falls at Marble Falls.
