The Pink Out game against Vista was held at Bible Stadium on Friday, October 19.

The student body supported breast cancer awareness month by wearing pink to school and to the game on Friday.

“We’ve watched a lot of video to prepare for this Friday’s game,” Clint Harper, head coach, said.

In the first quarter, the Rangers struck first with a field goal. Leander But Vista came back to score a touchdown and went into half time with a 10-0 lead.

In the third quarter, Darian McClatcher, sophomore,  scored a touchdown, but the Rangers were still in the lead. In the fourth quarter, only minutes after Leander’s first touchdown, McClatcher scored another touchdown bringing the Lions in the lead by four points. Shortly after, Caleb Woodward, senior, scored a touchdown. With only 36 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Hayden Newsom, senior, intercepted. Leander won 20-10.

Vista’s loss snapped their winning streak of 6-0.
