The second game of playoffs against Floresville ends in the Tigers favor with a score of 60-43.

Despite a close 21-23 first half, the Lady Tigers came roaring back in the fourth quarter and outscored the Lions 19-9. The emotional loss brings the season to an end for the Lady Lions, the seniors and first-year head coach Kiara Marshall.

“[The girls] are my family. I have spent the past six years playing with some of them,” senior Kylie Douglas said. “Even though the season is over I know I will always be able to call any of them at anytime and they will be there for me. F.A.M.I.L.Y. ‘Forget About Me I Love You.”

Seniors Rayanna Carter and Izaila Martinez scored a total of 18 points. Juniors Alicia Molina and Alyssa Bennett made 10 and 11 points. Sophomores Mikaela Noe and Kassadie Sanders combined for 4 points.

After the game, Coach Marshall expressed her pride via her Twitter account (@CoachMarshall25).

Finished our season 24-13. I couldn’t be more proud of these kids. I loved every bit of it! #lionpride,” she tweeted.
