The Lady Lions softball teams came away with a victory against Marble Falls. Varsity won 14-0 at Marble Falls and left with heads high as the Lady Lions are 4-0 in district.

“I was excited that we had won,” senior Hannah Holt said. “Because then we were 4-0 in district.”

Holt pitched a shutout against the Lady Mustangs. The Lady Lions defense also held together to keep the Lady Mustangs from scoring any points. The Lady Lions also had an amazing game hitting as they scored 14 points.

“I thought we did good; we hit well,” Holt said. “We got runs early in the game and it helped us go 14-0.”

JV also won in a very close game against Marble Falls with a score of 5-4. The Lady Lions’ next game is against Eastview at home with JV at 5 and Varsity at 7.
