The Lady Lions defeated Marble Falls on Teacher Appreciation Night in a close game. The Lady Lions won 6-5 against the Mustangs.

“I think we did a better job of making adjustments at the plate,” junior Hailey MacKay said, “but we have to be sharper on defense because we had a couple of errors that led to runs.”

The Lady Lions faced a tough Marble Falls defense but prevailed with a win by one run.

“I felt like I had high quality at bats,” MacKay said, “and I felt like I was a leader at the plate by providing a spark for our offense all night long. I also made an unassisted double play which got us out of a jam when Marble Falls had two runners on.”

The JV Lady Lions also gained a victory against the Mustangs. The Lady Lions next game is at Eastview. JV is at 5, and varsity is at 7.
