The Lady Lions softball team was victorious against Vandegrift on April 7. The Lady Lions won 4-0.

“I think we did good,” senior pitcher Hannah Holt said. ” [We] produced runs early in the game which helped us win it.”

The Lady Lions didn’t allow Vandegrift to score one run all game.

“I think the defense played a big role,” Holt said. “We did a good job of backing me up in the field.”

The JV Lady Lions also won with a score of 15-6 against the JV Lady Vipers. The JV Lady Lions had a flurry of runs giving them the victory. The Lady Lions’ next game is April 10 at Cedar Park. JV although does have an upcoming district tournament on April 9.
