Volleyball played three games on Thursday, Aug. 22 and one on Friday, Aug. 23 in Volleypalooza. They lost to Sachse but won the first two set 25-22. They lost to Weatherford in two sets. Their third game against Santa Fe was another loss, but they won the second set 25-16.

“I thought we had a good fight and competitiveness,” junior Callie Carrejo said. “I think the hard losses will fuel us toward a win now.”

They won against Warren on Friday, Aug. 23 in two sets. 

“We felt really good about [the win],” senior Hannah Ross said. “It’s a huge tournament with super good teams, so we just had to come out and play our hardest.”

Their next game is home against Vandegrift on Friday, Aug. 30 at 6:30 p.m
