The swim team recently competed in a Killeen invitational meet, alongside schools that are in our district such as Rouse and multiple other schools.
The girls’ team scored 50 points, coming in 6th place out of 9 teams. The boys’ team, however, scored 85 points and came in 4th out of 12 teams. Together, their combined score was 135 and granted them 5th place in the competition.
“For this point in the season, we’re doing exactly what we need to being doing, dropping times, and no injuries,” Coach Sully said.
Next Saturday, the swim team will be at College Station for their next meet, so come out and show your support for the Lions!
