The annual Austin City Limits Festival recently announced its lineup of performers for the 2018 season. Headliners include Paul McCartney, Childish Gambino, Travis Scott, and more.

“I’m excited to see Metallica because I grew up listening to them with my dad,” senior Lauren Pohl said. “I hope that I can go all three days this year so that I can see as many people as possible.”

The music festival will take place over the course of two weekends in October.  Weekend one will be held October 5-7, while weekend two will be October 12-14.

“I’m super excited,” junior Jack Johnson said. “I can’t wait to see all my favorite musicians in one place. It’ll be great to hang out with all my friends and listen to music.”

There’s something for everybody there.”

— Olivia Rutherford

Tickets are currently on sale for upwards of $255. General Admissions will offer access to over 125 performances in the Zilker area. You can purchase them here.

“I feel like it’s a lot of different genres put into one festival,’ sophomore Olivia Rutherford said. “You’ve got Paul McCartney who isn’t anything like Metallica. There’s something for everybody there. It’s not just a lot of popular artists.”
