Seniors say goodbye
Volleyball hosts senior night
The Lady Lions had their senior night on Tuesday October 20 during their game against Vandegrift. The final scores for each game came out to as follows.
Varsity’s game ended with a score of 0-3. The first set came out to 10-25, the second 8-25 and the third 22-25.
The JV team’s game came out to 0-2. The score for the first set was 15-25 and the second 21-25.
The seniors all got into a line and walked to the their parents where they were congratulated and photographed. The Head and Varsity Coach, Coach Atkinson, stated they were the best group of seniors she ever had. The seniors talked about how close they all felt as a team, especially because most of them had been playing volleyball together since 7th grade.
Freshman A had a turnout of 0-2. The first set was 12-25 and the second 11-25.
Freshman B won the second set, but lost the game. The outcome was 1-2 with the first set coming out to 16-25, second 25-16 and third 20-25.
The girls next game will be away tomorrow night against East View beginning at 6:30 p.m.
